About Me

Hi! I’m COLE RAULSTON, a junior water polo goalie at La Jolla High in La Jolla, CA.  I’m 6′ 3″, 175 (and still growing), and was voted 1st team All-CIF goalie for the Open Division and also 1st team All-County and All-League.  I’m also very proud of my academic accomplishments and last year finished with a 4.25 GPA.  Water polo is in my blood.  My grandfather, Fred Tisue, was an All-American for USC and scored the most goals in the 1960 Olympics in Rome.  My goal is to follow in his footsteps and play for a competitive collegiate water polo program that will take my game, and brain, to the next level.

In addition to school and polo, I’ve enjoyed being involved in several charity and community efforts such as: the Challenged Athletes Foundation, building homes for those in need in Belize, and volunteering time in a Tijuana orphanage.  But let’s not forget some fun, I love music, The Walking Dead and driving my little brother nuts.

Our La Jolla team beat Cathedral Catholic and Bishops in the Open Division playoffs before losing an overtime heartbreaker to Coronado.  We are already preparing for next year with hopes of taking the final step and winning the championship.  Although we had a great year I know I have much to learn but feel good about my skills and foundation as a player and leader on my team. I look forward to speaking with you and seeing if I’m the right fit for your program’s future.
